Roadmap to the Hope-Driven Leader

Libby Gill is the founder and CEO of an Executive Coaching and Leadership Consulting firm. Prior to founding her own company, she served in Senior Leadership roles in communication at media giants – Universal, Sony, and Turner Broadcasting. She was the branding and Public Relations behind the launch of the Dr. Phil show. In her website, she positions herself as guiding emerging and established leaders at Fortune 500 companies to reframe change as an opportunity for massive growth. In our interview about her book, the Hope-Driven Leader, Libby outlines several areas that must be created in order to have a hope-fuelled workplace. She will enlighten you about why people are so reticent to change and how a hope-driven leader can get employees to buy into change in order to help them to feel hope and, thus, thrive. As communication is such a key facet of leadership, Libby provides some suggestions on how leaders can be more effective in their communication. As I note in the interview, in her book, The Hope-Driven Leader, Libby devotes a chapter to help the reader to create a "true hope roadmap." This chapter solidifies how beliefs become behaviors and behaviors then become habits.
