Workplace incivility can be defined as rude or discourteous acts, and/or practices that undermine the credibility and productivity of others.


On a personal level, civility is about self-awareness and effective social awareness.  Civility is a balance between pursuing self-appreciation and practice self-control.

This workshop will examine workplace behaviors that compel people to tag others as uncivilized.  The case against stronger forms of uncivil behaviors, such as bullying, cyber-bullying, and racial discrimination is easy to build.  What is more difficult is to reign in the softer acts.
