    .   avoid communication breakdowns by taking personal responsibility 
    .   identify how we filter all information through biases, assumptions, prejudice, past experiences, 
and expectations
    .   reflect on how we can work more constructively with our emotions 
    .   explore the effects of stress, trust, and distrust on communication
    .   relate emotional intelligence (EI) to effective interpersonal skills
    .   examine approaches to working with difficult people
    .   learn to facilitate more effective communication in stressful situations

This experiential workshop will integrate an overview of how coaches approach communication through the use of powerful questions.  Attendees will learn how to position themselves to embrace collaboration in a more positive and expansive way.


The workshop will include a discussion on non-verbal communication, as well as cross-cultural communication and how it affects the workplace.
